Other ways to Support the Wind Farm


Once you have  written to Wealden Council to support the scheme, if you have a little more time please help get wider support in one or more of the ways outlined below.


Doing these really WILL make a difference.


1)       Write a short letter of support to the Eastbourne Herald, Sussex Express or Argus

2)       Attend your local town/parish council meeting – or send an email to the clerk – to demonstrate to your local representatives that there is still support for the scheme.

3)       Email your local ward members and MP to say why you support the wind farm. A list of local councillors and contact details can be downloaded from the ‘Flash Widget’ box on the bottom right of the home page.

It is really important that local councillors know that local residents support this scheme!

  • […] Eastbourne Friends of the Earth is now an official local group of the national Friends of the Earth charity (please celebrate!), and even though the group is still trying to get itself properly organised, the amount of campaigning that is being done by members of the group is rapidly escalating.
